Terms of use
These terms apply to clinics and their staff using DeskDuo, provided by Shaun Rees Chiropractic Pty Ltd, ABN 72 683 001 372.
The service
DeskDuo provides practice management software: calendar, patient records, notes, billing, messaging and related tools. Some features depend on outside services (for example Telnyx for texts, Meta for Facebook and Instagram, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI) and their own terms.
Your responsibilities
- Keep logins secure and give each staff member their own login.
- Collect and use patient information lawfully, with your own privacy policy and the consents your profession requires.
- Check AI drafts and other suggestions before relying on them. Clinical decisions are yours.
- Only message patients who have agreed to hear from you, and honour opt outs (STOP).
Your data
Your clinic's records belong to your clinic. We handle them under our privacy policy, and we'll give you an export of them if you leave.
Fees
Plans and usage (such as text credit) are charged as shown in DeskDuo. Prices include GST unless stated.
Availability and liability
We work to keep DeskDuo available and secure but can't promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending
You can stop using DeskDuo at any time. We may suspend an account that is used unlawfully or puts others at risk.
